WoooOOOwwww an actual FOTD!!!! It’s only been… an embarrassingly long time. Anyway, this is the makeup I did for my graduation ceremony for a university program. I could have done a totally respectable neutral smokey eye, but I do that every day and I wanted to use makeup products I haven’t used in awhile. It ended up being yet another version of my Lady Vengeance obsession. 

*Means these products were not purchased by me, but sent for editorial consideration. This doesn’t impact how I feel about the products though — honesty first!

Got bored of purple hair so I went back to green — a darker green than the last time I had green, though. Also got my hair cut shorter, because I’m addicted to the buzzer (I have a pretty intense undercut huhuhu). My hair is the product of the teamwork of Topher and Mary over at ARROJO, as per usual. This is the first time I’ve gotten my hair professionally colored in years and it’s such a nice change and my hair is very thankful for the pampering.  High-res

We haven’t done any original FOTD’s or whatever in awhile, sorry everybody! After NYFW I stopped wearing anything but moisturizer and sunscreen on my face until today and it has totally rescued my skin. The only base makeup I have on my face is concealer and powder now and it feels so great. These are also one of my new glasses from BonLook, I know you’re probably used to my vintage ones.  That being said — not wearing makeup is not very condusive to running a makeup blog! So, what would you like to see from PD? Guides, tutorials, etc? Let us know.  High-res

fashinpirate: I will not divulge how long it tooK me to do my makeup for tonight but I will say it was TOTALLY WORTH IT still smug about how good this makeup looked! i wish i had better pictures, alas. i followed lisa eldridge’s dolly lash tutorial (biba forever!) but added glitter because new years, and more fake lashes on my lower lashline. it was so aggravating to try to do a good cut crease, i’ll have to practice a lot more. hope your new years eve celebrations were fun.  High-res
