I’ve tried most colored mascaras on the market — Medua’s Makeup (review), Maybelline’s LE line (review) — and these two brands, butter London and Anastasia, have impressed me the most. I don’t have any time for awhile to do eye swatches of them but I’ve worn each of these for several days for at least 12 hours, and did not experience any racoon eye (even when I cried, and I can SOB), the colors are genuinely pigmented and noticable, the formulations are long lasting and straight up GOOD formulations that aren’t clumpy, need to be built a lot, etc like their competitors. I’m impressed. Powderdoom approved.
Note: Beauty Brands is having a sale on butter London mascaras so they’re half off (now $10.98) — definitely worth a look.
