Small haul from the past couple of days, just things I ‘needed’, mostly — a new BB cream because I’m running low on my beloved Dr. Jart Water Fuse Balm and I wanted to try something that I couldn’t find in the states. Here is what I purchased:
L’EGERE White Multi Blemish Balm Cream - I’ve tried about 10 since arriving in Taipei, most are too yellow for me. This goes on REALLY DARK yellowy orange but adjusts to my skin tone in a few seconds and provides some nice coverage, though it doesn’t completely cover my blemishes. I’ll have a more extensive review on BB creams here as I use them.
Sunscreen SPF 27++ I have no idea the English translation to this brands name, it’s kind of just like a drugstore brand you can find at Cosmed or Watsons here. It’s hard finding full sized sunscreens here, there are usually only tiny vials! This was the biggest and most affordable one I have found. It is VERY watery though. (edit: o/ It’s the Shiseido Senka Mineral Sunscreen UV Gel SPF27 PA++; one of the many sub-brands that Shiseido has)
Dr. Morita Natural Sponge Cucumber Water - I’ve been using this toner for several months actually, this is my third bottle. It’s a drugstore toner you can get at 7-11 here for about $3 and I like it as much as my Mario Badescu Toner. It really works for me.
Bunch of different nail polishes - Nothing to write home about, T-SING is kind of like the Sinful line you can get at Walgreens in the states. The fuschia glitter is really lovely, the blue is terrible. I’ve yet to open the rainbow glitter, it’s stuck shut.
I’m going to Etude House after I post this and then shopping and exploring so I’ll let you know what I find if it’s anything interesting. High-res
