Urban Decay was the first brand that I really got into when I became interested in makeup — the first eyeshadow purchase I ever made was the Sustainable Shadow Palette. It’s been interesting seeing the brand grow, and expand into their customizable palette line, and the recent China expansion situation is definitely…interesting. Anyway, UD sent over some products — the newest eyeshadow packaging, so I took it upon myself to swatch them for you and provide alternatives.
I think if you already own some Urban Decay Palettes, buying the singles would be redundant unless there is that one shadow you want to bring with you traveling. Such is the case for Half Baked and SWF, two of my most used UD shadows, so I’m glad to have them as singles.
I decided to swatch the singles (seen above) and also swatch them next to their palette counterparts. None of these are new releases — you can find these in previous palettes, so I swatched them next to their palette counterparts. Some of them I didn’t have the exact match so I swatched them next to alternative shadows from palettes and they’re pretty much the same, and I provided drugstore dupes for one or two, as well.
