Hi there. I watched the new makeup storage video and noticed some Kat Von D eyeshadow primers and the Physician's Formulas gel liners. How do you like these products? Does Chi-Chi have any experiences with them? Thanks!

A - Meh, I feel complete indifference towards the primers. I like the packaging more than UD’s but also you get so little product in said packaging I haven’t really had enough usages out of the bottles to have a solid hate or love for them. I don’t like how pigmented the colors of the primer are, I like primer that just blends into my skintone. Hmmm. it’s thicker than UDPP I think, but I don’t think it does as good of a job. As for the PF gel liners, I mean I have like 6 of them, but I hardly ever use them. I don’t like gel liners that much in general. I think you can find a blacker black gel liner, and they don’t last at all if you have oily lids or tend to get watery eyes sometimes. I like them better than E.L.F gel liners but they aren’t comparable to more expensive alternatives like Bobbi Brown or what have you. A lot of them are better off as cream bases for eyeshadow.

C - I have no opinion on the Kat Von D eyeshadow primers since I haven’t tried them yet. I actually just purchased a Physician’s Formula gel liner stack…and I must say, I agree with Arabelle for the most part. I only have three of them, but they are nice as shadow bases but they do rub off easily on oily lids. Some stacks are still on clearance at CVS, so they’re a good deal at around 3 to 5 dollars on clearance, but they’re just okay. I will say that the gold liner is pretty on the waterline for looks that you’ll wear less than 3 hours. (edit: The black + gold glitter liner I tried had the most epic fallout I have seen for a while, in a bad way.) I like the Maybelline gel liners better for a good deep black if you’re looking for an alternative drugstore option.
